Why some mums seem to have it all together and others don’t

They can because they think they can, according to Virgil

Are you one of those mums who look around you and feel like everyone else is happy, successful and has it all together?  Or wonder when life is going to give you your ‘fair share’?

What would you say if I told you that the only difference between you and them is your thoughts and beliefs about your life?

‘They can because they think they can.’ Virgil.

Thoughts are simply molecules of energy that vibrate at varying frequencies.  Those thoughts that appear positive or uplift us tend to vibrate at a higher or steadier rate.  Those like I mentioned above, tend to resonate lower and more erratic.  To attract whatever you deem desirable to you, you need only adjust your thoughts and therefore, your frequency and let the UNIVERSE take care of the rest.

Everything on Earth, when broken down into its molecular structure, is a collection of atoms appearing to move at very different rates.  For inanimate objects, this rate of fluctuation depends upon temperature and is generally even.  For example, if I pour cold water into a glass, the molecular movement or vibration of the atoms will appear to move slow but more or less at the same rate.  If I pour hot water into a glass, you will see them move faster, at a similar rate.

For an animate object; human or animal, our molecular movement or vibration can vary quite dramatically depending upon the state of the host’s temperature, thoughts, emotions, experiences, health, memories and so much more.  When we are vibrating concurrently at several differing rates, we can feel it as restlessness, frustration, confusion, anger, exhaustion, overwhelm, excitement or any number of ways.  This in turn makes it challenging for us to be calm, relaxed, to sleep well, digest our food properly and make important decisions in our day-to-day lives.

Creating a daily routine of ME (My Energy) time, such as meditation, yoga, reiki, tai chi, chi gong, breathing techniques, exercise or stretching, can help to balance those molecules to support our journey.  When left unattended, these molecules will continue to build up and wreak havoc on our bodies, minds and spirits and keep us from the very things that we want in our lives and leave us full of what we don’t!

Do yourself a favor and give yourself some ME time today.  Even just three minutes of focused breathing can leave you feeling refreshed, calm and more balanced so you can attract that Life you are dreaming of to YOU!

Focused Breath Technique

Posture: Sit comfortably in a chair or on the floor in cross-legged position.   Close your eyes and gently roll them up as if you were staring at the point between your eyebrows.  Bend your right elbow and block your right nostril with your right thumb, fingers pointing to the ceiling.  Put your left hand onto your left leg with your pointer finger and thumb touching.

Technique:  Begin Long Deep breathing just through your left nostril into your abdomen, feeling it rise like a balloon on the inhale and relax back towards the spine on the exhale. (1-3minutes). Swap hands and nostrils (1-3minutes)

Swap again, but this time, inhaling through the left nostril then blocking the left nostril with the right pinkie and exhaling through the right nostril.  Continuing this pattern (1-3minutes) swap hands and inhale through the right nostril and exhale left nostril (1-3minutes).

Then start pumping your naval in and out in unison with the inhale and exhale of the breath in short, quick, even breaths through the nose. (1-3minutes)

NOTE: If you are pregnant or in the first 3 days of your menstrual cycle, do not do this breath pattern and just do long deep breathing.

Comments: This short breath technique will serve to align both hemispheres of your brain helping to calm, center and balance you.  It can be practiced first thing in the morning, as a warm up to a Kundalini Yoga set or anytime throughout your day to give you a boost.

NOTE: Do each exercise for the same amount of time i.e. 1, 2 or 3 minutes each.
